The Given Hope Project empowers foster youth and their caregivers to overcome challenges, build resilience, and create brighter futures. Our programs focus on fostering Relationships, Empowerment, and Character (R.E.C.)—ensuring youth feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive.

Our Programs

1. R.E.C. Empowerment Circles (6-Week Group Program)

Who it’s for: Foster parents, agencies, community partners
Impact: Foster youth

Format:

  • 6 weekly sessions, 60–90 minutes each

  • Group size: 4–10 participants

  • Structured around R.E.C.: Relationship • Empowerment • Character

Pay-What-You-Can Contribution Options (Per GROUP):

Full Value: $1,500 Covers full program; supports others

Standard: $1,000 Accessible for most participants/organizations

Equity / Access: $500 *Limited spots; for families/organizations with financial constraints * brief form required

2. 1:1 Coaching (6-Week Cycle)

Who it’s for: Foster parents, caregivers, professionals
Impact: Foster youth

Format:

  • Weekly 60-minute individualized sessions

  • Personalized guidance based on R.E.C. framework

Pay-What-You-Can Contribution Options (Per Person):

Level:

Full Value: $500 Covers full coaching value

Standard: $300 Accessible for most participants

Equity / Access: $100 *Limited spots; for families/organizations with financial constraints *Brief form required

3. Workshop (1–2 Hour Workshop)

Who it’s for: Foster parents, agencies, teachers, advocates
Impact: Foster youth

Format:

  • One-time interactive workshops

  • Virtual or in-person

  • Maximum 15 participants per workshop

  • Focused on practical tools and skill-building

  • Empowering Youth Through Character & Confidence

Pay-What-You-Can Contribution Options:

  • Per person if individuals attend

  • Per workshop if an agency/organization books the full session

How PWYC ( Pay-What-You-Can) Works

  • Participants and partners select the level that fits their capacity.

  • Equity / Access spots are limited and require a brief request.

  • Adults pay, youth benefit, ensuring foster youth have access regardless of financial capacity.

  • Workshop sizes are capped at 15 participants to maintain quality and engagement.
